fish in fresh water may be little sharks

Well I caught a trout yesterday . When I cleaned it, it was full of reeds looked like a bunch of straw, metal corn other stuff . I think they are like sharks fresh water minny ones  little buggers oh yes big water bugs also .

Yeah they are like little sharks...Most fish are opportunistic eaters. They will eat what ever is available at the time. Today they might be eating grasshoppers but tomorrow there might not be any grasshoppers so they might start eating worms instead.

It is all about matching the hatch. If they are eating water bugs, it might be worth trying a lure that looks like those bugs. Or better still, catch some bugs for bait and you just might catch a few more trout 😊
I would start getting a bit worried if you find pieces or diving equipment and some human remains in there :-)
Sounds like they eat about anything.
These little buggers are in a small lake and the ice is very thick we use in the winter meal worms and earthworms .the water bugs must be in the deeper water the metal I don't know people have put weird  stuff under the water . summer we use other things grasshoppers and so on well they still are little sharks .
