Minor Times

Osaenz says:
What does minor time indicate?  Is that the worst, slowest time for fishing?  Thanks I new to this site and fishing.

Hi Osaenz

Welcome to fishingreminder.
Minor times indicate the second best times in a day. Usually a bit less productive then the majors.
But depending on your location, minor times can be quite good as well. Especially in tidal situations.
I've found that a few of my favourite shallow water fishing spots produce better results during minor times, just before or during high tide.
So I would say give it a try and see which times work best for you at your fishing spots.

Also always a good idea to look for either major or minor times near sunrise or sunset, especially when fishing from shore.
These times are indicated in bold on the fishing calendar.

Ok thanks for your help.  Another question what does the blue stand for in the Solunar Clock. Ok I think its for Low and High tides.  😃
you're welcome ;)

yep correct. the longer blue areas indicate high tides and the shorter low tides.
same with the green areas. the longer show major times and the shorter minor times.
