Went out last night and fished the reefs around Mission Bay. Drifting around with soft baits in my kayak. Nuclear Chicken did the trick again. Lots of bites.
Landed probably 8 snapper in about two hours. Just during the major feeding time - around low tide.
6 were too small and went back in and another two good sized pannies came home for dinner.
Very good conditioned fish. Even the small ones put up a good fight. The best fishing was in shallow water.
