Pretty sure she was talking about the gulf of mexico in the states.....we had
a slow hurricane cat 1 go thru and it left a ton of flooding in its wake.
It wasnt a bad storm only category 1 but it was moving so slow it rained for three days solid there(mississippi,alabama,louisiana) the results were some
what like the big katrina storm several years back that did so much damage.

had some great snapper fishing. But was too busy so only went out
once per month for the last 2 or 3 months.

Went out during new moon and action was great each time.

I think Nana pearl is a shiela.....she is refering to the state of Kentucky in
the U.S. The week she posted that we had a low powered hurricane go over our
southern gulf states and Kentucky is just north of that area. So she was just
saying it was raining slightly there from that storm. Anyway its good to hear you got sme fishing in that had good results!
