Hello Anglers,
Just joined up and I have to report on my latest fishing attempts.

I usually go out in the South Florida canals, in search of Bass.

Seems like the recent downpours have not only ended the drought, they seem to have given the fish way too much to eat, and they just don't seem very interested in getting hooked.

Most of the folks out fishin are sayin the same thing. A few have hit the right spot at the right time, but most are gettin skunked...
I got lucky this past Monday and landed a nice 19", 3-3/4 pounder.

Anyhow, Bass spawning/bedding season is supposed to be coming up for Lake Okeechobee, some time in November . Already got a couple of days set aside during the Thanksgiving break to go and hopefully land some yummy bass.
