Hello all,

Well I guess you could call me a newbie as I haven't been fishing for about 15 years. I used to fish all the time when I was younger, but with work commitment and so on, anyway you know how it is.

Anyway just wondering if anyone could give me a few tips for fishing the gold coast seaway. As I am a little rusty. I have brought the basic gears (fishing rods and a basic tackle box etc) and plan to try my luck tomorrow. What tides would be best and what bait should I use, I don't mind what I catch. just out there for a bit of fun and if we happen to catch a feed all the better.
