NEW: Solunar Fishing Clock

markt says:
Hi everyone

I have been working on a new mobile phone website.
I created a solunar clock that will eventually also be integrated into fishingreminder.

Currently its in beta and it would be awesome if you guys could try it out and give me some feedback.

You can find the app here: http://www.solunarclock.com
Also try this url in your iphone or android browser. There is location detection button.
It will always adjust to your current location on your phone or desktop and select the closest tide station if available.

This is also now available as a chrome webstore app

and you can also embed it as widget into your igoogle account.

if you use the chrome webstore or igoogle it would be awesome if you could leave a rating/review on these sites - if you like this component ;-)

remember still the very fist version - so there might be some bugs.
If you find any or have any suggestions - leave a message here.

Cheers
Mark

This is what the interface looks like:

great utility if it is accurate???.... also I guess the green bars in the clock mean best times,

Are the blue the worst????

And last of all what do the 4 fish mean on the bottom of the clock:unsure:

as i said seems like it will be simple fast and so far accurate
hi mate - thanks for the feedback šŸ˜Š

the green bars are minor and major times (shorter minor, longer major)
the blue ones are high and low tide (shorter low , longer high)

the fish on the bottom is the day rating its 4 out of 4 - so its very good.
Great app Mark, I too have a question of how accurate is it. I have another app that suggests different major and minor times. Also your tide times differ to those on our bureau of meteorology webite, why would this be? Having said that, several other apps suggest the same times as your app but still differ to what I imagine are the 'official' predictions.

Also is it possible to change the location rather just see where you currently are. Would be good to plan trips away if this were the case.
Keep up the good work, it really looks one of the better apps I've seen, very clear and understandable.
hello.

I canĀ“t update my location.

hi there

what seems to be the problem?
need some more detailed infos to check it out.
My clock in igoogle donĀ“t give any info.

must be because it canĀ“t find my location
ah in igoogle - ok cool - I'll check it and try to fix it.
by the way, iĀ“m in Portugal
I try the free android app and it work fine.
Very clear and funcionaly
cool thanks for the thumbs up for the android app šŸ˜Š glad you like it.

the solunar clock will soon also be part of the fishingreminder interface.

I'll get the igoogle fixed up soon - doesn't seem to be a problem with the location - must have something to do with some recent changes in igoogle.

how the fishing in portugal at the moment?

Hi, I used this App on my Android phone and it was very good. However on my new Windows phone this App is not available anymore? Can you assist/ help?
Hi Waldemarr,

unfortunately we don't have an app for windows phones.
But our website is mobile friendly.
Just bookmark fishingreminder.com on your windows phone and you can get all the infos you need in your browser.
