I love this reel. It is smooth and powerful and it casts amazing. I have the 3000 size and I put on 15 lb braid with a 10lb fleuro leader and pair it with the 6ft 6in medium Kast king Resolute rod - it seems to love that setup. I've had this reel for almost a year now and it has held up very well and I think that it will continue to hold up for a long time yet. I have caught lots of species on this rod such as smallmouth, largemouth and rock bass.
