Still not a lot in the news about this.

Apparently some rec fishing orgs are considering a class action.

If the comments at this news report are anything to go by. Then 90% of the fish are taken by commercial fishing !!

I can see him turning around and saying ok we won't do a ban but you've got to buy a fishing licence. Give with one hand, take with the other.

Recreational fishing can't dent the fishing population. Ban mass fishing (net, seine) etc and the fishing population will be fine.
