Fish recipe #Snapper dumplings

Recently, we have had a surplus of fish from catching a big snapper.
I tried a new recipe with them! They are really tasty so I would like you to share this with all our fishos!!

If you get tired of your usual grilled or pan-fried fish. Please try a new recipe with Asian flame onto it.

I bought a dumpling pastry from a local Asian grocery shop. This will take less time to prepare this dish. However, you are good at making pastry and have some extra time to make the dough, then go for it.

Ingredients
- Dumpling pastry 50psc
- Snapper fillets, I used 2 small
- Broccoli head, a half bunch without stems-->you can substitute to Chives, spinach, carrots or mixed of any finely chopped vegetables, Better with less moisture
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 small thumbnail size of ginger

- 3~4 Tablespoons of bread crumb
- 3~4 Tablespoons of flour(any)
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper
- a bowl of warm water (need it for making the dumpling shapes)

Method
1. Chop all the veggies and the fish: I chopped with the hand for the right texture that I like (I don't like to use a food processor because of the result, could be a little bit mushy)

2. Mix well with the dry ingredients and egg
3. Make the dumplings as in the video!

4. Steam, Pan-fry or Soup!!

Looks very nice...making me hungry :)

I take it that if you want to pan fry, you steam or blanch first. Then only fry on one side only, the flat side?
Couldn’t be bothered ?
I just fry them without steaming. Some people add water to the frying process and close the lid. But I fried all raw straight away! I made the dumplings as flat as I could for easy and fast cook ?‍?
