Trolling for golden perch in the murray using a minn kota

new too the site....Been fishing the murray a few years now and really had too work out the best trolling methods myself!!!
i prefer trolling from a tinny and have caught a lot of perch and the odd cod...just wondering if anyone else is doing the same and hopefully pick up a few more techniques / share stories etc etc...

Welcome to Fishing Reminder :)

I am near Wagga for most of this year (maybe into next year). I am planning to do an overnighter or two near Howlong. Not sure when because I am not trusting this warmish damp start to winter.

What part of the Murray are you fishing?

Fishing in sa.... a place called nildottie.....lots of cliffs and deep water.....
near a know COD spot called Big Bend.....generally use a big spinner bait and have had some great success.....

An update...I have just been asked by the owners of the house I am sitting to stay on till March / April. I said 'yep OK'. So I will now be in the Wagga area till at least April next year.

So, I just might be on the Murray for the opening of the cod season 😊
