how did you go? catch anything big again?

I went Imageback to my spot but it was way too crowded. A not too good friend was there waiting for me so I took a pic of him and left.
lol. :D
hi james my name is randy what are using for bait in your neck of the woods they just arent hitting our rubber worms up here in conn.
I've always used Canadian night crawlers. I break those big boys in thirds and use a small hook. Most of the time they hit within 2 minutes after casting.

Try some TRD's rigged Texas style in green pumpkin  and orange craw and other natural colored baits. Use a smaller wide gap hoop, or try a robo worm in green with a yellow tip on the tail. Senko worms in green pumpkin with red flakes and purple flakes. They say bass, think they are small Blue Gill. Also try senko in green pumpkin with black flakes. The red, purple, and black flakes all have a yellow tip on the tail. I live in Central OHIO. I have caught a total of 253 bass as of 7/29/17 all thrown back alive, I hope. I have used Bagley small fry crank baits in  pan fish colors and Livingston's rubber Blue Gill's that you walk the dog with or twitch on the surface.

I love to fish lily pads. I use a 7 1/2 ft. extra heavy  fiber glass rod and 85 lb. braid. The reel is a spinning reel, that is 6:2. Creature baits,
TRD's , Senkos , worm's that are 3 to 4 inches, sometimes longer, if  the pads are scattered. I peg, if pads are close together and I don't if they are scattered. I am 68 years old and use to fish tournments.  Now I fish 1 or 2 times a week. I fish ponds and out of a boat.
Thanks for all the info. It's always good to hear from someone else's view and experience
