Well, I live in the suburbs of Columbus ,OH. A town called Gahanna. We have some small ponds for catch and release. This past Friday, I decided to try flipping worms in the lily pads. I caught 7 bass and 5 got away. Largest about 3 1/2 lbs. to 2 lbs. Hey fun to catch. I love to watch the line slowly begin to move away, then I jerk hard. Being from Tex. flipping comes natural.
I've tried to show some kids, how to fish like this, but they all have wimpy rods and 4 to 6 lb. line and no wide gap hooks. They just can't believe, that I can catch bass in the weeds. I used the small slender senkos in pumpkin green and I turned the tails
yellow. I used motor oil color ribbon tails, red, black, and plastic craws. All tails and claws were turned yellow and had garlic in them.
