It is Cod Eve...Tomorrow is the first day of the new cod season...

Murray Cod, that is!

I have caught maybe 2 dozen maybe 2 and 1/2 dozen Murray Cod. But all were sent back to the river unharmed.

This is the first time in about 15 years that I am close enough to the Murray River to go fishing during cod season....and the flood waters are finally going down.
