The Mediterranean Sea has been 'flooded' by toxic puffer fish which have entered our waters from the Red Sea I believe. Apart from wreaking havoc on all types of fish particularly squid, cuttlefish and octapus as well as causing serious damage to fishermens' nets they form a serious danger to people and pets as there toxicity is far more powerful than cyanide!
Fishing in our waters is slowly becoming a waste of time.
Does anyone know of any baits or tricks which do not attract puffer fish and, even better, is there any way that professional fishermen can get rid of them?
