crappie fishing

been fishing missisinewa resevoir,its like fishing in nestle quick chocolate milk.have had lots of rain recently,and its not stopping.temp and moon have been in favor for crappie,they just cant see bait.plus water is 5+ feet over summer pool,making shore fishing a real pain.my boat is not ready yet.

Same problem here in Illinois. Waiting the water to clear after last weeks 7+ inches of rain. My pond crappie are waiting for me.
the only other thing I can recommend is adding flash & vibration to your baits. I normally use 1.5" tube jigs for crappie, but when the water turns to coffee, i add a jig spinner (those ones that are like safety pins), or I go with tiny crankbaits with rattles. Those two changes generally keep me from getting skunked. Thinking about it, one other option would be to use live fathead minnows, they tend to act like a dinner bell too.
