Fishing in Abilene?

i just moved here last week Nov 5th, i have been on a couple of the local lakes with multiple set ups and have not had any luck. i am in the military, so i have only been able to fish mid afternoon due to work.

any tips and information would be great.

Kirby lake is the closest lake to where i am currently staying.

Hey Diablo,
I was in Texarkana for a few years and found these links for different lakes in Tx. Now Im in Las Vegas and watch this site every few weeks and noticed your
request for info on kirby lake. use the link above for tips and conditions and
access info. According to the site kirby has cats and lm bass. Good luck and
post photos of your catch !!
