moved from portland or to Clatskanie, oregon when I was married -- married a great gal, owns a business & has a house on the columbia river (about 35 mi. from Astoria or. yes friends, she came with a dock. a dock that I practically live on.
I'm positioned between the columbia river & Wallace Island. the Clatskanie river flows into the Columbia about 1/2 mile above my dock
I'm an avid fisherman now but most of my expertise is "trout fishing"
I have lots of questions for someone in a reasonable position as I
let's see -- I'm a viet vet. 101st airborne -- wounded --
i'm a self taught mechanical engineer
I now live near the coast but have yet to take advantage of it
I have tryed raising nite crawlers but can't keep the poor creatures long enuf for them to multiply (someone keeps drowning them)
I've got to go now, the fish are catcalling me from across the road, so i'm
going down to the dock & hurl worms at them til they quit
did I mention that I caught a 48" sturgeon a few months ago
