yesterday's fishing times

Is there a way to retrieve these so I can see if they coincide with my catch?

hi there - you'll need an advanced account to get fishing times for previous dates or any dates in the future. There is a subscribe button top left after you login.

You'll then also have full access to the fishing log, where you can upload a photo of your catch (if you have one) and fishing times, tide times and also weather will automatically be added to a diary page for that day.

I've been monitoring those fishing tables along with another site the last couple years. My buddy was the one talking about this site.My wristwatch also tells me when they're biting with fish icons on it. 4 fish being the best. I take that info with a grain of salt, LOL!

If the major/minor co-incides with my fishing time,I'll write it down on my hand and keep track of it during my trip. Not to be rude, but this one isn't even close most of the time..They're listing the full moon on july 2 as fair and july 3 as poor. The other site lists the full moon as the peak of the month which it has always been the best day to catch many fish, barring coldfronts. That site always lists the peak days of the month and best times of the bite and it's about the same every day. 6 a.m is always prime, then 7,and tapers down with 8,and 9 and bottoms out. Then climbs by the hour til noon and later. That one is pretty much wrong most of the time, but a little more consistant with my catch because I usually limit out by 9 a.m. at the latest.

Take tomorrow, june 28 for example. I wrote down the major 8:34 a.m.- 10:34 a.m. down on my hand and see what happens. With the heat,we may not stay out that late,LOL! As usual, the other site lists 6-9 a.m. for the best bite.

I just take this data as a reference and a little encouragement, LOL! Everyone has to have an edge!

I just basically go by what I've learned over the years: Full moon best, new moon, then the 1st and last quarters are the main phases. 2 days before, day of,and day after any of the main moon phases are the best days to fish and I plan my vacation around the main moon phases. This does not include coldfronts.Coldfronts trump all!!
Fish On!!
hi there

hmm - what is the other site you mentioned?
Looks like 6-9 is not the solunar time but rather the first hours after sunrise..?
I'll have a look. Normally new moon is peak fishing time rather then full moon.
The first few days after full moon get a good rating in the maori fishing calendar though and also here on fishingreminder.
I'm in the middle of an upgrade to provide alternative systems for day ratings.
So that people can choose which one they like better or even set up their own for their reminders.
In my experience its quite often those days where major or minor times are just afte sunrise or before sunset where fishing is best, provided the weather plays its part.

Full moon and New Moon are both very good.Hard for me to say which one is better but I limit out during the days around them.A lot depends on weather.Up til yesterday,we've has some very stable weather with only 1 major coldfront.Steady weather turns on the saugeye.

That other site I visit is field&stream hunting/fishing tables on their website. July isn't listed yet,but their table is skyrocketing as the full moon approaches.

Today's hot bite was 7:30 a.m.EST. Late start.Delayed by lightning for about an hour but as soon as I hit last night's hot spot waypoint at 7:45,feeding frenzy began.Saugeye feed in spurts. Caught 5 keepers in 45 mins and then nothing for the next 45 mins. Limit achieved at 9 a.m. and time restrictions didn't allow me to cull out a couple of 15 3/4" and 16". Best bite after a storm that I have ever encountered.

Similar to last night's double. Major storm swept from chicago and hit us very quickly in western ohio. 50-80+ mph winds. 1" of rain in less than 15 mins. I've never seen anything like that when pulling my boat up to Indian lake.It looked like something you'd see during a major hurricane. Thankfully I had to wait on my guest from columbus to arrive and wasn't on the water when the crap hit the fan.Waited almost 2 hrs then on the water around 6 p.m. Nothing til 8 p.m.and 9 keepers by 9 p.m. Lost a 5+lb hawg, threw back a bunch of dinks, and lost a lot of fish. When they bite, they bite. Normally the bite lasts a half hr or so then they sit right there on the bottom making most people think that the saugeye moved. They didn't.Theyjust sit right there on the bottom til the next bite.

FR says poor today, fair next couple days, then poor again tuesday.F&S table is skyrocketing up. Lack of july data so don't know if it'll reach their 50 rating by tuesday. I'm expecting a ton of eyes and a few fish ohio qualifiers in the next 3 days.
Prime bite today was 10:31-12:31 a.m. here at f.r., but way too hot to stay that late. F&S listed 6 a.m. as prime, tapers down and bottoms out at 9:00 a.m.

We started at 5:45 and nothing in the last previous hot waypoint named vernon. So went trolling to other hot spots. Picked up 2 while trolling then decided to hit waypoint vernon again. Just before 9 a.m. we started picking up 1 here and there leading up to wp vernon.Once we hit that waypoint at 9 a.m., the feeding frenzy began. They were biting everything we threw at them with no extra action on the rods. Picked up majority of the bigger eyes 17" in the next 40 mins. By 9:35 a.m.,limit of 12 achieved with a couple 15.5 legal keepers thrown back in and lots of missed eyes.
Hot time this morning was 7:00-8:00 this morning with 7 keepers and 10+ dinks.Took an hr to find the eyes but game on after that!!Only a couple keepers between 8:30-9:30 a.m. I'll see how the minor fairs this evening with another guided trip on the slate and I know where those eyes are laying on the bottom ready to feed on my Bomber Model A-B02 firecraws.
