I live in coastal NC, and was wondering if anyone has any good advice on the smaller sea trout. Lately I have been able to go out and find them. Howver in the last few days I can't. It seems if you can find one then stop where you are and fish that area, and you will catch a dozen more, and then there gone. The last few days I gone to all my holes and I hav'nt had one hit. I do seem to do better on a falling tide this time of year, but really all I am after in this winter season is the speckled. They are alot of fun once you find them. I just could really use some insite on how to locate them, or is there no way to. Just blind cast and prey you get lucky? Any advise would be great.
