I have vacation planned for January 2012, I am visiting from the United Kingdom. I am staying in the Naples area for three nights and then I am of down to the Keys for two nights. I have a few questions that I hope someone may be able to answer????
Is it possible to fly fish / lure fish on the beaches in Naples, my partner fancies spending a couple of days on the Vanderbilt Beach. I generally do a lot of fly fishing / lure fishing in the UK and I would simply just like to sample a couple of hours on the beach. I am not really interested in bait fishing, I prefer to be mobile and on the go and walking in the surf etc. The size of the quarry is not a issue its simply a question of having fun.
So if anyone can offer some info tips and hints I would be truely grateful! Plus all fish if caught will be returned safely for the residents to catch again,
I think I require a permit and have looked at purchasing one so if anyone can clarify that please.
