Depends what you're wanting to catch, but generally I'd try in this order:

salted or fresh mussels, shrimps, pilchards and squid.

another option would be to flick around some soft baits - if you have some soft baiting gear.
My recommendation would be the 5inch gulp jerk shads or possibly a 5inch z-man.
