I am sorry to hear that you are leaving.

I trust and hope that this is due to old age and not ill health ? :)

You know, you don't have to actually be fishing to hang around here with us rum lot !! You must have some stories to tell ?

I thank you for being a part of the fishing world and I wish you all the best.

Neil.

Thanks for your concern.
Just age catching up.
for us its a fair hike to the beach its all getting to much.
Pat
You are only as old as the person you are feeling...*wink* *wink* :)

Ooh...that is naughty of me :):) hahaha

I was house sitting in Queensland (Warwick) a year or 2 ago. Every 4 or 5 weeks a nurse bought this old bloke up to the lake. I don't know how old he was...maybe in his 90's...She (the nurse) would cast out the line, complete with a small bobby float...

The first day, when I first met them, I suggested that 2 inches of water might not be deep enough to catch fish...It did not take long for me to realise what was going on.

That old bloke was (and hopefully still is) just an old salt...It just doesn't matter to him, a line in the water is all that matters to him.

You don't have to be catching fish to be having a great day fishing....no matter what age you are !!!

If you must move on, then I wish you all the best. But please remember, right here is a place for you to tell those "tall stories" and pass on some hints and tips.

I hope you stay and I wish you well.

Neil
