A short trout fishing horror story

This is why you should think twice about keeping a tagged trout:

The sun had dipped below the horizon, and the angler, Mike, was alone on the lake, casting his line in hopes of landing a big catch. As he reeled in his lure, he felt a sudden tug, unlike any he had experienced before. The water churned, and he pulled with all his might, heart pounding with excitement.

Out of the dark depths emerged a monstrous trout, its scales glistening in the moonlight. But as Mike got a closer look, he noticed something unusual - a tag protruding from its back. He unhooked the fish and examined the tag, which bore an eerie symbol that sent a chill down his spine.

Ignoring his unease, Mike decided to keep the fish and took it home. That night, he couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. Strange noises echoed through his house, and shadows seemed to move on their own. He had nightmares of the trout, its tag glinting malevolently, haunting him in his sleep.

As days passed, Mike's once-energetic demeanor faded. He grew pale, plagued by fatigue and insomnia. His friends noticed his distress, but he couldn't bring himself to tell them the truth about the fish.

One night, Mike woke up to the sound of dripping water. He followed the sound to the kitchen, where he saw a trail of water droplets leading to the fridge. He opened the door and froze in horror - there, lying on the shelf, was the trout, its eyes wide open, and the tag pulsing with an otherworldly light.

Terrified, Mike tried to dispose of the fish, but it kept reappearing, taunting him with its menacing presence. He became consumed by paranoia, convinced that the fish was haunting him, seeking revenge for disturbing its slumber.

Driven to madness, Mike sought answers and discovered a local legend about a cursed trout that had been tagged by a long-dead angler. Desperate to break the curse, Mike returned to the lake where he had caught the fish and released it, tag and all, back into the water.

From that day on, the trout disappeared, and Mike slowly regained his sanity. But he would never forget the horror of the angler's catch - a fish with a sinister secret that had turned his life into a living nightmare.

That is the first catch and release story I have heard in YEARS...that is actually BELIEVABLE !!
haha - guess who wrote this story?
Mini Mark ?
Haha - no Mini Mark is busy working on our next video
Believe it or not - An AI wrote it. I was playing around with Chat GPT and asked it to write a horror story about an angler catching a tagged trout. And then I asked another AI to create a horror image of a trout with a tag under a full moon.
Isn't it amazing what these AI's can do? You can't distinguish this from a story written by a human. It's like science fiction.
Working on the next video ?? Yeah, sure, like I am going to believe that fishy story !!

I have heard of Chat GPT. But I haven't looked at it. I wonder what would happen if you asked it to write a "true" story of the one that got away?
check out the next forum post. I asked exactly what you wrote. Wow - I'm really impressed - this AI is so good.
Just don't chat with AI about how to fix climate change. There's a widow in Europe taking a chat bot app to court after her husband was allegedly persuaded to kill himself by the bot.

There are scammers, I'm surprised we haven't seen them on this forum yet, in far off lands somewhere in the back of Faroffistan using chat bots to subtly astroturf their way in.

We live in interesting times.
We've had a few issues with casino scammers recently in the photo section.
I just put more security measures in place - hopefully, that will block them.

But yeah - have you heard of the Turing Test?

Essentially the Turing Test is a test proposed by Alan Turing in 1950 to see if a machine can act like a human. A human evaluator has conversations with a machine and a human, without knowing who is who. If the evaluator can't tell the difference, the machine is considered to have passed the test and has achieved human-like intelligence.

Well, we reached a point where machines can pass the Turing Test. It's quite exciting but also somewhat scary.
We get scammers here. We are on top of it.
