Great catch. 38cm is a very nice.

We don't often hear about fishing in Tasmania.
I just fished for it the same as I would have on the mainland running sinker with a sharp hook except I may have cheated a little as I knew the fish were there as I could see them swimming around the old bridge supports from looking down from the road bridge. Next time I'll get there earlier as they went off the bite just before high tide. Lots of leather jackets flathead bream whiting oddles of live bait in Tasmania normally I will catch my target fish .
Nice sized lizard.

I have never been to Tassie. But that is only because my sister lives there !! :)

Is it only the north that you fish?
At the moment as I have no transport. But of course I will and would fish anywhere St Helens being my eventual fishing destination. 🐟
