Hay Guys , up at bald hills been out having a fish getting a feed of snapper or bream or flathead good snapper other catch just legal. No prawns thats a worry .
What are you pulling in or hoping too.

wish we were still allowed to go fishing over here.
Hopefully this home detention will end next week and I'll be able to catch a few more snapper before winter.

Hi Mark , you down at Victoria are you I hear  it’s closed there .
In QLD it’s open as long as either two family members or yourself and getting food , no sling etc .
But been for some reason lots on the water and snapper going off the boil this week trying for flathead and a small snap Monday . Weather good here

Mark is in lockdown in N.Z hence the NZ flag :)

Oh, so you are just not catching any prawns. Maybe try using a trap. I know most people only use cast net but a trap might be worth a go.

We cast net for banana prawns here in QLD 
Up Moreton bay not much if any around they tell me there at the bay islands about a few hrs south . Just catching banana prawns as if not longer than your hand good chewing and bait as well the smaller ones . ?

There is nothing on the news about prawns that I can find.

There should be a surplus of supply.

Yeah I'm in lockdown in NZ - tomorrow they'll decide if the full lockdown will end this coming week.
If they lower it one level, we can go fishing again as long is we're not fishing from boats.

Yea can’t use trap as they move always on the move need a driver and a thrower as there always on the move . Sometimes mid depth or the surface once you get on them could get up to 50 boats banging and pushing but all in good fun .
 Yea where lucky for sure here but hope no one stuffs it as they will close it .
