C-virus & FNQ Oz fishing

Professional fishing [crustacean & reef-fish] + tourism, has collapsed in Qld., Au. due to C-virus in the last month etc. Hopefully, it will rest the entire [Great Barrier Reef] GBR along the East coast of Qld., & give the Reef fish & off/shore crustaceans a nice holiday as well :) Just coming into Winter here, after 15' or so of rain, so with the Pros' away, it will be a magical season for amateur fisherman, like my friend here. Image

Yes, it is interesting just how little is needed to bring a business sector to its knees.

With the dry season about to start it should be quite a noticeable recovery.
Well, You are lucky that you could still go fishing. We are now not allowed to go fishing down in NZ.

People on Facebook or other social media are catching dogs or goldfish from their home.
Might go mental at the end of the lockdown period.
For now, Try our best to be positive for this unexpected situation in this world.

Really hope to be over as soon as possible!!
Stay safe and happy fishing there!
It only seems bad because you have been told you are not allowed.

If you tell yourself that you don't want to go then things will be easier.
Yes! So true! ‘NOT ALLOWED’ is very suppressing word for human.
I should do more cooking at home?.
Telling myself that I don't want to go fishing is definitely harder than being told that I can't go fishing ?
In the latter case at least I got someone else to blame for my misery.
Just drop a brick on your foot...Then tell yourself that you cannot go fishing because your toes hurt :)

You live in a bus, right? So if you went for a 2 week drive around the island you are not leaving home !!

Hit yourself on the head with a hammer...You can't go fishing if you have a headache :)

Search Ebay AUCTION listings. Filter for "ending soon". You might be surprised at the bargains you can get. You will also be surprised at just how quickly the days pass when you are chasing bargains on eBay...You might even make some money !! The first thing I ever sold on eBay was a CF card. I won it for $2.50 at auction with free post. I then put it back on eBay for auction with a start price $1.99 with $2.50 postage...It sold for $13 !!
