The weather in Memel | Category: Introduce yourself

Hi Member
I live in Memel South Africa.
It is located in the Easters Drakensburg of the Orange Free State
I am a casual fisherman, mostly large moth Black Bass.
Our dams are plagued with small bass, so no returns are encouraged due to over stocking.
Presently I an rejuvenating an old fishing cabin for one of the local farmers.
When completed it will be rented out .
It is a beautiful clear dam. Covering several hectors the water feed is from mountain streams..

The Memel area is popular with various species of fish, such as Carp, a some catfish, some trout and Black Bass.

I wish all members good fishing and tight lines.

Hi Ivan,

Thanks for the intro. Memel sounds like a great place.

Hopefully those little bass will grow big quickly
