tips and tricks for Malta?

I'm going to Malta on the 6th May and want to do a bit of fishing. Can anybody give me any tips as to bait, location and tackle to use as I have not been sea fishing before?

I know a lot about Malta...Just not a lot about fishing in Malta :)

When I fish a new spot I usually go right back to basics. A simple running sinker and a hook...and go from there. I often use a snap swivel so that I can change hooks easy or even put on a lure.

Location...cannot help you there. I have never been to Malta.

Bait...Start again with the basics...a prawn.
