A six inch Silver Jig worked well for me to catch a 4kg Mackerel  Caught 10kms  from the shoreline on a reef at a depth of about 30 meters. the ocean was extraordinarily calm and crystal clear. extensive chum bait was continuesly thrown. Rest of the smaller fish caught on Mullets. it was one of the best days in months. Last Sunday was just one 2.5 kg grouper caught by trolling with a Halco deep diver.
