Welcome to the area. Although not an expert by any stretch of the imagination,I do fish the area you mention pretty regular, so willing to try and help. Need a little more info however. Are you fishing from shore, or in a boat/kayak?

Hey there! Check out EG Simmons park in Ruskin.  Also Fort Desoto Park in Tera Verde (St. Petersburg).
