Hello from Arroyo City Texas

I looking for advise, sorry I am knew to fishing so I can't give any. I fish in the Arroyo Colorado River in Texas. It is Brackish water and I fish off a dock. Any advise would be deeply appreciated.

Hello CindyMae ... "blackwater" personally I would not fish in such conditions .. "Blackswater" suggests to me it is contaminated with substances thst possibly wouldn't be good for your health 'IF' you were catching fish to eat. Perhaps for the sport of catch and release can be very satisfying sport as each catch can be challenging !!! Can I ask what type of fish live in "Blackish Water"???? Regards a Sea Fishing Al'
I believe he missed the meaning of brackish as being a mix of fresh and salt water with the salinity being less than out in open gulf water. Looks like you did a good job on the specs.

Yes brsckish wster great place in New Zealand for netting flounder as I have...last catch with a liecense 144 dozen of them !!!!!!! Unfortunately NO Fotos ...before cell fones had cameras !!!!!
