I am from Lake Guntersville,Alabama one of the best bass lake in the USA but i like to fish for crappie i use bobby garland jigs most of the time in the blue ice and monkey milk both work very well the 2 inch slab slayer in the blues ice i use the most split the tail i have taken fish when nothing else seems to work its my go to bait my biggest fish on it was 17 inches long 3 pounds ...If anyone is coming to Guntersville to bass fish let me know i can tell ya the best places to go i did work at a tackle shop at one time.. seen a lot of 7 to 10 pound bass come in the store >>So good luck and take a kid fishing
