I am not a Mod or Admin, but I will answer anyway...I am just that sort of person :)

Mark is the Mod and Admin king of the kayaks, lord of the paddle around here...

Wind direction is always given from...never to. So if it says 20 knots SE it is coming from the south east at 20 knots.
