Hello! I am Omar G from Doha Qatar. I've been fishing this part of the globe for more than 8 years now and would like to share my local knowledge to interested anglers. Like most of the people here, I'm an expat making a living on the land. And since the sea is just a stone throw away from my place, fishing is my one and only hobby (or passion) that I really enjoy.

I could say that I am not a beginner anymore and tends to be a bit technical when I go fishing. I know my gears, and know some tricks of the trade to catch the biggies (when, where, and how) although I need a lot more to learn to be called an expert.
