some easy to get baits for cats fished anywhere are hot dogs and chicken livers. You can get em at any market and cats love em. you should have done ok with stinkbait cuz they love anything that smells bad......also try frozen anchovies if you can find those. If you use the livers be sure to use a trebel hook as they dont stay on a bait holder type hook very well. good luck!
