Out here (aussie)we call them flounder & to get a fish that big is never been heard about!,oh also to me a nice tasting fish. Well done GJ?

"winter" flounder is a smaller variety, more bony, but still very good tasting. Fluke are "summer" flounder, and more robust, and very tasty. Go to website http://njsaltfish.com/index.php/nj-regulations.html and scroll down to where they give a depiction of both. (killies are live minnows)

Thanks for the information. It is interesting the flounder has different varieties by the seasons. I love flounder. I think it is the tastiest fish on earth.

hey GJ can`t believe you catch flounder the size of doormats ,be a good buzz fighting a big one??
