Did you relase it?
Or are the Black tips good tasting fish?

Some kind of sharks are good for grilling and also for ceviche because the meat is very solid but it all depends if the species is good tasting

Pretty much all sharks are good eating. Often sold as "flake" in take away shops. Smaller sharks are better because larger sharks can have high levels of mercury. That little black tip you got is just about the perfect size for eating...But check your local rules first, there might be size and bag limits.

If you have ever had fish'n'chips from a shop, then there is a very good chance you have eaten shark.
They are very good eating and for several reasons are good for business. As Crankbaiter says, the flesh is quite firm so it is forgiving to lots of cooking methods. Plus there are no bones.
Here is a short article which is a good starting point if you wanted to know more - https://www.marineconservation.org.au/pages/threatened-spec-a-word-on-flake-140.html
I always let sharks go when I catch them. From what I can tell, black tips are "threatened". Meaning they are not yet protected but are at risk of becoming endangered. So there is a good chance you will have local size and bag limits...So next time you catch one (of legal size) fire up the BBQ and give it a go :)
