Nice catch :)

Congrats...that's a nice pike! I caught a few in my days, especially in Ontario. Trouble with them is, and I'm sure you know this is, is their darn bones....right? Only knew one person who could fillet one, where you cook safely bite into the sandwich, chew it up and swallow it with not "1" worry! He was a full blooded Indian my father and I hired as a guide on the Georgian Bay off lake Ontario. He took us out in the middle of nowhere, told us to start trolling and we limited out on pike (6) in 1 hour catching pike about the size of yours! One of the most amazing fishing experiences I have ever had to this day! And more amazing, Henry (the Indian) charged my dad and me a six pack of beer and a pack of smokes!!
