Wonderful catch, I have learnt Perchs are sweet water fishes but you have cought them on an Island, do they live in saltwater as well?

Perch here in Scandinavia are both in fresh and brackish water.
The fish in the photo is a pike which is a smaller relative of the American pike!

You have added in my knowledge, thanks a lot. I am in Dubai and catching mostly silver grunts, Barracuda, snappers but all of them are small sizes below 1 kg. I am not lucky still to get a big one.
