Hi, is this fish edible?? Once I cought it and my friends adviced me to release it as its not edible.

@adil9p -yeah you can eat this fish .you havf to remove the upper skin. But there is an other one its look like same , that fish not good for eating dangerous

It is a flathead. Not only can you eat it, flathead is one of the best eating fish. Maybe Azhaudheen knows something the rest of us don't know, but I have never heard of a fish that looks like a flathead that is dangerous to eat.

I got the same from Rastanura beach. It is so yummy. It lives inside the sand in the sea. But, nowadays it is very rare and people doesn't know it can eat or not
