that was probably a good 10 - 12 pound fish and put up a really good fight. I released him to live and breed. Took a whole pilchard stray lining, nicely hooked in the corner of the mouth with a circle hook.

thanks, I used a whole pilchard on a single size 7 hook with a small 1/4 ounce weight, stray lining.
