Nice looking fish mark,never had fresh water trout. Only been fresh fishing 1 time & it was in central Qsouth of Thangool caught heaps of fish but can`t remember what they were??had heap of bones in it the one I did try though.

thanks mate. Maybe they were trout ?trout have heaps of bones. I usually cook the smaller ones whole and then pick the meat from the bones after cooking. The big ones also have huge bones, so they are easier to fillet. I love trout. Tastes a lot like salmon if they come out of clean water.

Pike has lots of bones too
