Hi Longanilla, Did you catch all those nice big Schnapper of Scotts Ferry out West from Bulls at the mouth of the Rangatikei. Yes I have fished there too BUT only surf casting with spinner into the river mouth and got good size Kahawai .. I used to tow my 22 foot caravan to the car park and fish all week end, excellent fun BUT usually only ME camped there so was pretty lonely. Used to bleed them straight away, treat them with my special recipe and smoke them later. So they were well treated and VERY tasty after smoked. I see you use a submarine on what length of line ?
