I'm not to sure I just thought they were baby grey
sharks, We caught 11 that day and put them all back.
If any one knows I would like to know to, We caught
2 big lemon fish sharks that you can eat but they
have quite a different color in the body, They are
the photo of the 2 sharks together with a lone
Snapper Lol..

They were just caught on our long line of Scotts
Ferry, We also caught about 6 sting rays as well
I got one on my surf caster and it gave me a hell of
war, Was hoping it was a BIG Snapper but no such
luck.. The weather out at the beach on the last 2
week ends has been great...

I've only been out to scotts ferry once and am looking at going out there tomorrow as the bite time looks ok,will be surfcasting into some big holes hopefully,any secret spots out there ???

We were out there today put out 3 sets with the long
line and only got 1 snapper and a gurnard.. Only got
1 small shark on the surf caster... Good holes? Now
that is a good question, I don't really know we just
turn left when we get on the beach and head up
towards the river mouth and look for a nice spot,
We don't really have any 1 spot we use.. I hope you
had a good day at Scotts Ferry :-)

When you say you turn left when you get on the beach,do you mean you head back south toward Tangi ???Im going to try and get up nort a bit toward the old bombing tower,have been told its the best spot for the snapper,would love to catch a few gurnard from the beach...
