I caught it on a #4 Mepps Aglia spinner, casting from shore at sunset. Only hit in 1 1/2 hrs. Nothing on roe bags or spoons.

Now I think it's a Coho salmon. Loose scales. I thought salmon had some black in their mouth but Coho have a white mouth with possible blackish gums. Very seldom do I see loose scales on a Rainbow trout.

looks like a female chinook to me, caught a lot of them in Alaska.
